Jewish Wisdom For Business Success
- Levi Brackman
Much wisdom comes through much grief. – ECCLESIASTES 1:18
That all humans fail at some point in their lives is an inescapable fact.
The challenge is the manner in which we respond to failure: it can lead to more failures or to greater heights of success.
Since failing is to be expected from time to time, there is no reason to get depressed when it happens. This is not to say that it’s a cause for celebration, but it certainly doesn’t call for dejection or self-flagellation either. The moment we realize that occasional failure is inevitable, and that it happens to even the most successful people, its stigma is removed. We must also realize that failure in business is often a result of our own individual and personal character flaws. When we stop making the same mistake over and over again real and sustained success follows.
Unfortunately, many of us do not spend much time being introspective and therefore continue making the same mistakes repeatedly. Due to embarrassment, we go into denial and find it difficult to admit, even to ourselves that we err. And when massive failure hits we find others to blame and then go on to make the same mistakes again. This is often why new businesses fail. Many entrepreneurs have multiple business failures until they begin to learn from their mistakes and figure out how to get it right.
I AM MAKING MIRACLES OUT OF MY PAST MISTAKES!
